Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing and consuming your placenta in capsule form after childbirth. The placenta is cleaned, dehydrated, ground into a powder, and placed into capsules for easy consumption.

Benefits of Placenta Encapsulation:

  • Hormonal Balance: Many mothers report that placenta encapsulation helps replenish hormones after childbirth, potentially reducing postpartum mood swings and depression. Hormones like Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone, and Growth Hormone may help with emotional balance.

  • Increased Energy: Many mothers experience increased energy and reduced fatigue after taking placenta capsules. Nutrients such as Iron, Magnesium, Calcium, and Zinc support postpartum recovery and energy levels.

  • Improved Milk Supply: Some women find that placenta consumption helps boost milk production, enhancing breastfeeding success.

  • Nutrient Replenishment: Research shows, The placenta contains essential nutrients like Iron, Protein, and Glutamic Acid, Lysine, and Tryptophan, which are crucial for tissue repair and overall recovery.

  • Faster Recovery: Placenta encapsulation may help reduce postpartum bleeding and support physical recovery, allowing you to regain strength and vitality more quickly.

Placenta encapsulation is a natural, holistic option for mothers looking to enhance their postpartum recovery and well-being.

Placenta Services Overview

At Eve's Garden Wellness, we offer a variety of placenta services designed to support postpartum recovery, enhance overall wellness, and honor the significance of this powerful organ. Our services include Placenta Encapsulation, Mother’s Salve, Tinctures, and Umbilical Cord Keepsakes, each with its unique benefits.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation involves carefully preparing your placenta for consumption after childbirth. We clean, steam (if preferred), dehydrate, and grind your placenta into powder, then place it into easy-to-swallow capsules.

How to Use:

  • Take the capsules daily to promote energy, hormonal balance, and quicker recovery.

  • Many mothers take 1-2 capsules a day, with some adjusting based on their body’s response.

Mother’s Salve

Mother’s Salve is a soothing, healing balm made from your placenta that can be applied to the skin, often used to support the healing of any perineal tears, C-section scars, or dry skin.

How to Use:

  • Gently apply the salve to any areas of the body that require healing or extra moisture, such as your perineal area, nipples, or scar tissue.

  • It’s a natural, gentle option to support skin recovery during the postpartum period.

Placenta Tinctures

A placenta tincture is made by infusing a small piece of your placenta in high-proof alcohol. The tincture has a longer shelf life and can be used when needed, such as in times of emotional distress, stress, or when you're adjusting to postpartum life.

How to Use:

  • Place a few drops under the tongue as needed, typically for emotional balance, energy, or overall wellness.

  • It can also be diluted in water if preferred.

Umbilical Cord Heart Keepsake

The umbilical cord is shaped and preserved into a heart or other design as a beautiful and meaningful keepsake from your birth experience. This piece can be dried, painted, and stored as a memorable token to commemorate your child’s birth.

How to Use:

  • The umbilical cord heart is a sentimental memento to keep or display as a special reminder of your journey into motherhood.

Photos of the Placenta

We offer high-quality photos of your placenta to help you understand the significance and beauty of the organ that nurtured your baby. These photos allow you to see the intricate details of your placenta, such as the veins, membranes, and overall structure, which can be a meaningful part of your birth experience.

All of our placenta services are handled with the utmost care and respect for your health and well-being. If you're interested in any of these services, please reach out to learn more and schedule your consultation!

Satisfaction Guarantee

While we cannot guarantee that placenta services will be the perfect solution for everyone, research suggests that bioidentical hormones derived from a woman’s own placenta offer numerous benefits, particularly during the postpartum period. From my personal experience, I have had wonderful outcomes with each of my births and placenta services for all four of my children. Every individual’s experience may vary, and we encourage you to discuss any concerns or questions with us prior to starting services.
